Bombing 70s Music Chart January 31st 1976This week in the UK was not a week to be walking around the city of London, because of fears of a bomb. Two days a go a bomb rocked London hurting a Taxi driver. Another dozen bombs also went off, including one inside a HMV store, of course it was the IRA responsible.

The  70s music was still great, and here are the last charts hits from January 1976.

No Regrets by Walker Brothers

Tom Rush wrote this back in 1966, and it appeared as a B side on a Walker Brothers single hit and came from the album “The Circle Game”. The group were never brothers with Scott actually being  Noel Scott Angel and lived in the UK since 1965, he sang with John Walker who was really called John Joseph Maul.

The song is just beautiful.

John Walker died in May 2011 from cancer.
